​Initiator and vital contributor to every large venture over the decade These statewide projects have done much to advance the standing and visibility of the parks and recreation profession among our members, agencies and departments, stakeholders, partners, our clients and customers, and the public at large. These included the establishment of the Pennsylvania Urban Parks and Recreation Alliance, the statewide parks and recreation marketing and branding campaign, parks and recreation awards program, Opioid Task Force, and partnership with the American Academy of Pediatrics PA Chapter. “As a park and recreation professional, she is an exemplary thinker, leader, planner, and doer we would all do good to emulate.”

For the most outstanding paper written by a practitioner published in the previous two-year period and selected by a Jury of Academy members. RECEIVED: Plaque and $500.

Key to the City of Bridgeport (1988).

Connecticut for professional parks and recreation planning services that guided the City in “bringing our parks to a new level of pride”.

National Park Service Citations (1989,1987, and 1985).

For professional parks and recreation planning that advanced National Park Service mission and goals in open space, park friends, and urban parks.
